CITY OF COUNTRY CLUB HILLS
Veterans Commission – Community Announcement

Honoring Service. Strengthening Community.

The Country Club Hills Veterans Commission is proud to serve as a dedicated body of individuals representing all branches of the United States Armed Forces, with members bringing a wide range of military experiences and leadership backgrounds.

This diversity strengthens our decision-making, discussions, and strategic direction, allowing us to better serve those who have served. While our experiences may differ, we remain united by a shared commitment to supporting the veterans of Country Club Hills, their families, and the broader community.

New Partnership Announcement

We are excited to announce the launch of a strategic collaboration with the Veterans Commission of Cook County.

This partnership will bring military resource experts directly to the south suburban community, providing hands-on assistance to veterans in accessing their earned benefits, including:

  • Disability Compensation
  • Housing Assistance
  • Medical Benefits
  • Educational Resources
  • Burial and Survivor Benefits

This initiative represents a significant step forward in improving access, awareness, and support for our local veteran population.

Additional details and service schedules will be announced soon.

Upcoming Community Engagements

The Veterans Commission is committed to maintaining an active presence in the community. Residents can look forward to a full calendar of events, including:

  • Memorial Day Observance (May)
  • Back to School Parade (September)
  • Veterans Day Mocktail Event (November)

These events are designed to honor service, foster community engagement, and celebrate the contributions of our veterans.

Stay Connected

We encourage all veterans, families, and community members to stay informed by following official City of Country Club Hills announcements for updates on programs, services, and upcoming events.
