POLICE BLOTTER: August 10 – August 16

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Asia D. Spann, 24, of the 3000 block of Polly Ln, Flossmoor, was charged with driving on a suspended license, violating a traffic sign, and operating an unisured vehicle after a stop on August 11, at 167th Pl and Pulaski Ave.

RETAIL THEFT: Jasmine D. Dampier, 25, of the 16700 block of Butterfield Dr, was charged with retail theft after stealing $249 worth the merchandise on August 11, at Walmart, 4005 W. 168th Pl.

THEFT FROM RESIDENCE: A furnace and copper piping was reported stolen form a residence on August 11, on the 1200 block of Williamsburg Rd.

PROPERTY DAMAGED: A basement window was broken on August 11, on the 17800 block of Cypress Ave.

PROPERTY DAMAGED: A portable bathroom, picnic table, and a pavilion were damaged on August 12, at Atkin’s Park, 17740 Maple Ave.

GUNSHOTS: A vehicle was found to have mutiple bullet holes and residents reported hearing gunshots on August 12, on the 4600 block of Provincetown Dr.

HOME BURGLARY: Electronics and liquor were stolen from a residence on August 12, on the 4700 block of 176th St.

BATTERY ARREST: Troy E. West, 33, of the 2100 block of 70th St, Chicago, was charged with battery after causing physical injuries to a person during a disturbance on August 13, at Walmart, 4005 W. 168th Pl.

SUSPENDED ARREST: Jetisha M. Wilson, 30, of the 3800 block of Honore, Chicago, was charged with improper lane use and driving with a suspended license after a stop on August 13, on the 18200 block of Pulaski Ave.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE: A wallet and phone were stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in the driveway of a residence on August 13, on the 17800 block of John Ave.

VEHICLE DAMAGED: A vehicle rear window was shattered on August 13, on the 3800 block of 176th Pl.

COUNTERFEIT CURRENCY: A subject attempted to complete a purchase using counterfeit $20 note on August 13, at McDonald’s, 4239 W. 167th St.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE: A bag containing medical equipment was reported stolen from a parked vehicle on August 14, on the 4100 block of Cambridge Cir.

DECEPTIVE PRACTICE: A person reported concert tickets purchased for $300 via Craig’s List were fraudlent and not accepted by the concert venue on August 14.

VEHICLE BURGLARY: A vehicle window was damaged and a purse was stolen from a vehicle on August 14, on the 17800 block of Cedar Ave.

HOME BURGLARY: Electronics, coins, and jewelry were stolen from a residence on August 15, on the 16900 block of Glen Oaks Dr.

THEFT: A wallet was stolen from a unattended bag on August 15, at Premier Estates Park, 18600 Willow Ave.

THEFT: A trampoline was stolen from the backyard of a residence on August 16, on the 3600 block of 175th Pl.
