APRIL 18 – APRIL 25

ASSAULT ARRESTS:  Jamel Parker, 18, of the 8700 block of Burley, Chicago and Anfernee Stewart, 19, of the 8400 block of Baker Ave, Chicago, were charged with assault after threatening to shoot a person and reaching in a waistband in a threatening manner on April 18th, on the 16700 block of Sunset Ridge.

SCAM:  A person reported on April 18th,  a subject called stating they were a law enforcement officer and threatened to arrest them if they did not send money to pay for a warrant.

PROPERTY DAMAGED:  A utility box was reported damaged on April 19th, on the 4000 block of 177th St.

FRAUD:  A person reported on April 19th,  a credit company notified them subjects attempted to fraudulently withdraw funds from their bank account electronically.

NO DRIVERS LICENSE:  Ramon Fragoso-Martinez, 59, of the 5000 block of 159th St, Oak Forest, was charged with driving without a license and operating an uninsured vehicle after a stop for driving without lights when required on April 19th, at 173rd St and Cicero Ave.

RETAIL THEFT:  Katrina Tyra, 25, of the 3100 block of Emery Ln, Robbins, was charged with retail theft after stealing merchandise worth $120 on April 19th, at Walmart, 4005 W.168th Pl.

IDENTITY THEFT:  A person reported on April 20th, they were notified by the IRS a subject attempted to file a tax return using their information.

VEHICLE THEFT:  A vehicle was reported stolen from a parking lot on April 20, on the 4100 block of Provincetown Dr.

DECEPTIVE PRACTICE:  A person reported on April 20th, they paid $2,000 after an unknown subject called and stated their family member was in an accident and needed bond money when their family member had not been involved in an accident.

THEFT:  A homeowner reported their house was for sale and that unknown prospective buyers stole $1,300 from the residence during a showing on April 20th, on the 18000 block of Vista Dr.

THEFT:  A phone accidentally left behind was stolen on April 20th, at Fuel Star, 18259 Pulaski Rd.

THEFT:  A phone left on a register was stolen on April 21st, at Walmart, 4005 W.168th Pl.

SCAM:  A person reported on April 21st, they sent two $500 gift cards after receiving a call from a government agent who stated they had a $50,000 warrant and requested a $1,000 deposit be paid via the gift cards.

THEFT ARREST:  Marquis Shelton, 31, of the 3800 block of 168th Pl, was charged with theft after stealing cash and a bank card from a purse on April 22nd.

SUSPENDED LICENSE:  Paije Northington, 35, of the 18000 block of Juneway Ct, was charged with driving on a suspended license and improper backing after a traffic accident on the 18000 block of Juneway Ct.

CANNABIS ARREST:  Rashaan Morgan, 22, of the 18000 block of Thomas Ln, was charged with possession of cannabis after a stop for speeding on April 22nd, on the 18100 block of Patrick Ln.

THEFT:  A person reported jewelry and a jacket were stolen from their residence on April 22nd, on the 18000 block of Edwards Ave.

HOME VANDALIZED:  An officer found the interior of a home vandalized after a call of juveniles hanging out near a vacant residence on April 22nd, on the 18500 block of Willow Ave.

RETAIL THEFT:  Jaquwon Small, 19, of the 16800 block of Head Ave, Hazel Crest, was charged with retail theft after stealing multiple electronics on April 22nd, at Walmart, 4005 W. 168th Pl.

RETAIL THEFT:  Mark Johnson, 29, of the 200 block of Blackthorn Rd, Matteson, was charged with retail theft after concealing $200 worth of electronics and golf accessories on April 23rd, at Walmart, 4005 W. 168th Pl.

VEHICLE DAMAGED:  A window was broken on a vehicle during the overnight hours on April 23rd, on the 18900 block of Chestnut Ave.

PROPERTY DAMAGED:  An officer on patrol located a window broken on a building on April 24th, on the 17600 block of Pulaski Ave.

NO DRIVERS LICENSE:  Felice Brown, 22, of the 4900 block of Mary Ct, was charged with driving without a license after a stop for a registration violation on April 24th, on the 18400 block of Pulaski Ave.

SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCE:  A homeowner reported finding a window to their home partially open with pry marks on April 24th, on the 2200 block of Windsor Ln.

CANNABIS ARREST:  Marcus Harris-Cook, 24, of the 2800 block of 173rd Dr, Hazel Crest, was charged with possession of cannabis after a stop for speeding on April 24th, at Pulaski Ave and Flossmoor Rd.

BATTERY ARREST:  Courtney Poindexter, 35, of the 14800 block of Lawndale Ave, Midlothian, was charged with battery after pulling a person by the hair and punching them on April 24th, on the 18700 block of Baker Ave.

HOME DAMAGED: A rock was thrown through the window of a residence on April 25th, on the 18600 block of Maple Ave.

SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCE:  A homeowner reported observing a window partially and pair of scissors laying next to a screen cut on April 25th, on the 17600 block of Willow Ave.

CANNABIS ARREST:  Jeremiah Ball, 22, of the 18000 block of Ravisloe Terr, was charged with possession of cannabis after officers on patrol smelled the odor of cannabis coming from his vehicle on April 25, on the 4000 block of 183rd St.

OBSTRUCTION ARREST:  Rhonda Arrington, 55, of the 18700 block of Oakwood Ave, was charged with obstruction after pulling away from an officer during a call of disturbance on April 25th, on the 18700 block of Oakwood Ave.
