Cook County Issues Disaster Proclamation Following July 27 Storms
Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle has declared a disaster following the severe July 27 storms, which brought tornadoes, flooding, widespread power outages, downed trees and significant damage across the region, including Country Club Hills.
The proclamation allows Cook County to pursue additional recovery resources for impacted communities.
Residents who experienced storm damage are encouraged to complete the Cook County Resident Damage Survey by August 5 to help determine eligibility for available assistance. The form is provided below for your convenience.
