Warm Sock Drive: Give the Gift of Warmth This Winter
As temperatures drop, the need for warm essentials becomes even more critical, especially for those facing housing insecurity. Join the Senior Oak Program members, along with Parks and Recreation, as we work on making a difference by contributing to our Warm Sock Drive, where every pair donated goes directly to neighbors in need. We’re collecting new crew socks for men, women, and children to help our community stay warm and comfortable during the winter months.
Drop-Off Details:
- Location: James W. Ford Resource Center – 19001 S Cicero Avenue
- Donation Deadline: Friday, December 6, 2024
- Hours of Operation: Tuesday through Friday, 9am – 5pm
All socks collected will be donated to the South Suburban Pads Wellness Center, an organization dedicated to supporting those in need within our community.
How You Can Help: Simply drop off new pairs of crew socks at the James W. Ford Resource Center before the deadline. Every contribution makes a difference, so whether it’s a single pair or multiple, your support is deeply appreciated.
For any questions, please reach out to Mary Ann or Debra at 708-374-7899.
Thank you for helping us spread warmth this season!
