June 30th

DRUG ARREST: Michael Cervi of the 17600 block of Oakwood Dr, Tinley Park, was charged with possession of a controlled substance after officers recovered multiple bags of heroin and a syringe while investigating a call of a slumped driver at Walmart, 4005 W. 167th St.

WARRANT ARREST: Dmarco Whitman of the 1200 block of Deerfield Pkwy, Buffalo Grove, was arrested on a Skokie warrant after his was vehicle was stopped regarding a gun shots call in the area 167th St and Pulaski Rd.

HOME BURGLARY: Video game systems and accessories were reported stolen from a residence on the 4600 block of 177th St.

July 1st

RETAIL THEFT: An employee reported a subject ran from the store with liquor they failed to purchase at Cardinal Liquors, 4031 W. 183rd St.

ORDER OF PROTECTION VIOLATION: Darnell Ball of the 3900 block of Flossmoor Rd, was charged with violating an order of protection, criminal damage to property, and aggravated assault after damaging a door and threatening a person with a knife on the 4100 block of 186th Pl.

WARRANT ARREST: Parrish Miles of the 3600 block of Sunset Ave, Markham, was arrested on a Illinois State Police warrant for driving on a suspended license after being involved in a traffic accident on the 4100 block of 167th St.

WARRANT ARREST: Deion Green of the 3600 block of Sunset Ave, Markham was arrested on a Rosemont PD larceny warrant at the station, 3700 W. 175th Pl.

DRUG ARREST: Steven McHerron of the 17800 block of Cypress Ave, was charged with possession of a controlled substance after a call of an intoxicated driver in the area of 183rd St and Cicero Ave.

RESISTING ARREST: Demarius Flakes of the 1000 block of Garfield Ave, Charleston, was charged with resisting arrest after he was observed battering a person and resisted arrest when officers observed a fight on the 17900 block of Vista Dr.

July 2nd

THEFT: A person reported a guest at their residence pushed them and took their cell phone and checkbook on the 4600 block of 185th Pl.

BURGLARY: A video game system was reported stolen from a residence on the 4400 block of 188th St.

PROPERTY DAMAGED: Windows were found broken after a series of loud bangs on the 4300 block of 188th Pl.

July 3rd

RETAIL THEFT: Marcelle McCoy of 15500 block of Minerva Ave, Dolton was arrested on Cook County and Grundy County warrants and was with retail theft and obstructing identification, Rochelle Perrian of the 17800 block of Arlington Dr, was charged with retail theft and contributing to the delinquency of a minor after employees observed both and accompanying minors failing to pay for concealed items at Walmart, 4005 W. 167th St.

BURGLARY: A glass was broken and currency was reported stolen from Country Club Hills Food & Liquor, 4874 W. 183rd St.

VEHICLE BURGLARY: A backpack containing personal electronics was reported stolen from a vehicle on the 3800 block of 168th Pl.

VEHICLE BURGLARY: A purse and wallet were reported stolen from a vehicle parked in a driveway on the 17800 block of Baker Ave.

July 5th

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Travis Smith, of the 1400 block of Kenilworth, Calumet City, was arrested on a Joliet PD warrant, and Jason Jones of the 4900 block of Lake Ct, was charged with driving on a suspended license and being uninsured after being involved in a traffic accident on the 4200 block of 167th St.

GUN ARREST: Justyn Thorton of the 3100 block of Hickory Rd, Homewood, was charged with unlawful possession of a weapon and ammunition after a stop for violating a median on the 18300 block of Pulaski Rd.

THEFT: Copper pipes were reported stolen from a residence being remodeled on the 4100 block of 172nd Pl.

ID THEFT: A person reported multiple lines of credit were opened in their name without authorization.

July 6th

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Lorenzo Relf of the 7100 block of Champlain, Chicago was charged with operating a vehicle with a suspended license, being uninsured, and leaving the scene of accident after he left a traffic accident involving an emergency vehicle on the 18300 block of Cicero Ave.

July 7th

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Maurice Lindsey of the 900 block of 84th Pl, Chicago was charged with operating a vehicle with a suspended license and being uninsured after a stop for speeding on the 4500 block of 183rd St.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Candace Moore, of the 18200 block of Idlewild Dr, was charged with driving with a suspended license after a stop for a registration violation on the 18300 block of Pulaski Rd.

PROPERTY DAMAGED: A homeowner reported fireworks damaged their home’s siding on the 18100 block of Juneway Ct.

July 9th

ORDER OF PROTECTION VIOLATION: Darnell Ball of the 3900 block of Flossmoor Rd, was charged with violating an order of protection after a call of an unwanted subject on the 4100 block of 186th Pl.

GUNSHOTS: Officers recovered multiple shell casing while investigating a report of a vehicle chasing and firing gunshots at another vehicle in the area of 172nd Pl and Pulaski Rd.

July 10th

GUNSHOTS: A homeowner reported their garage door and vehicle damaged after hearing gunshots on the 4100 block of 190th Pl.

July 11th

PROPERTY DAMAGED: A window was reported damaged by an unknown subject on the 18700 block of John Ave.

IDENTITY THEFT: A person advised they learned an unknown person had used their identity for employment after receiving a letter from a government agency stating their benefits were being reduced because of their employment status.

HOME BURGLARY: Electronics were reported stolen from a residence on the 18700 block of Baker Ave.

July 12th

THEFT: A registration plate was reported stolen from a loaner vehicle during the overnight hours, on the 18000 block of Vista Dr.

July 13th

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Levante Bacon of the 17800 block of Yale Ln, was charging with operating a vehicle while his license was suspended and being uninsured after a stop for a sign violation on the 18300 block of Pulaski Rd.

July 14th

VEHICLE BURGLARY: A work bag containing personal property and a firearm were reported stolen from a vehicle on the 16900 block of Old Elm Dr.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Dillon Jackson of the 15700 block of Clifton Park Ave, Markham was charged with operating a vehicle with a suspended license and failing to wear a seat belt after a stop for a sign violation on the 17100 block of Pulaski Rd.

PROTECTION VIOLATION: Darius Harris of the 2400 block of Oak Street, Blue Island, was charged with violating an order of protection after taking a persons phone and slashing a tire to their vehicle on the 4600 block of 175th Pl.

July 15th

VEHICLE BURGLARY: A wallet was reported stolen vehicle after the owner found its doors open and interior ransacked on the 18900 block of Oakwood Ct.

BATTERY ARREST: Andrew Krol of the 17600 block of Baker Ave, was charged with battery after throwing a fan and taking a persons oxygen tank.

DRUG ARREST: Aaron Brown of the 18600 block of Anthony Ave, Hazel Crest, was charged with possession of cannabis, a controlled substance, and drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest during a suspicious vehicle investigation at Flossmoor Plaza, 19040 Pulaski Rd.

July 16th

WARRANT ARREST: Ronald Daniel of the 4700 block of 175th Pl, was arrested on a trespass warrant issued by PD after being notified Oak Lawn PD had him in their custody.
