Happy New Year, Country Club Hills!

As we welcome 2025, we want to take a moment to reflect on the incredible 2024 year we’ve had together and express our heartfelt gratitude for being part of this amazing community. Your support, engagement, and pride in our city have truly made 2024 a year to remember in Country Club Hills.

We accomplished so much as a community:

    • Summer Concert Series: More than five successful, well-attended “Summer Under The Stars” concerts brought our community together for evenings of music, fun, and connection.
    • Citywide Improvements: We completed 10 street resurfacing projects, enhancing safety and accessibility throughout the city.
    • Parks & Recreation Upgrades: We resurfaced the Community Park walking trail and opened a new playground at Wulf Park—creating vibrant spaces for residents of all ages to enjoy.

We’re also incredibly proud of the generosity our community showed this holiday season:

    • Warm Sock Drive: Hosted by our senior coordinators at the Parks and Recreation Department, they managed to collect almost 1100 pairs of socks for those in need, donated by our gracious neighbors.
    • Food Drive: Donations dropped off at City Hall to help stock local pantries that support those in need.
    • 3rd Annual Christmas Coat Drive: Ensuring our neighbors stay warm this winter. Donations accepted at City Hall.
    • Divine Word Ministries Toy Drive: Donations of toys for children in need.
    • IOTAS “R” Us Charity Drive: Collecting non-perishable goods and toys at City Hall to go to those in need this season.
    • Toys for Tots Campaign: Brand new toys donated to spread holiday joy to children.

As we begin 2025, we’re excited to continue working together to make Country Club Hills an even better place to live, work, and thrive. Thank you for being an essential part of what makes our city so special.

From all of us at City Hall, we wish you a joyful New Year filled with health, happiness, and new opportunities. Attached to this email, you’ll find a holiday card from the Mayor, City Clerk, and City Council as a token of our appreciation.

Wishing you a happy holiday season and a prosperous New Year!
