FRAUD: A person reported giving account information and sending multiple gift cards to an unknown person after being contacted by telephone reference a loan being approved on June 20th.

THEFT: A person advised an unattended suitcase was stolen as they packed their vehicle for a vacation on June 20th on the 4100 block of 192nd Ct

ID THEFT: A person reported on June 20th, they learned a credit account had been opened in their name while reviewing a credit report.

PROPERTY DAMAGED: A basement window was reported shattered on June 20th, on the 18600 block of Walnut Ave.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Jose Morales, 22, of Dogwood St, Park Forest, was charged with driving on a suspended license and being uninsured after a stop for an equipment violation on June 21st, at 177th St and Pulaski Ave.

HOME DAMAGED: Multiple rocks were reported thrown through the window of a residence on June 21st, on the 3600 block of School Dr.

CREDIT CARD FRAUD: A person on June 21st, reported multiple unauthorized transactions posted on their bank card.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE: Multiple bank and credit cards were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle on July 1st, on the 4900 block of Fairoaks Dr.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE: Multiple credit cards, currency, and identification cards were reported stolen from an unsecure vehicle on July 1st, at Mobil, 4015 W. 183rd St.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE: Currency and cigarettes were stolen from an unlocked vehicle on July 3rd, at Applebee’s, 4029 W. 167th St.

July 4 – July 10

RETAIL THEFT: Darlene Edwards-Lewis, 59, of the 3100 block of 141st St, Blue Island, was charged with retail theft after stealing $88 worth of DVD’s on July 4th, at Walmart, 4005 W. 168th Pl.

BULLET FOUND: A homeowner reported locating a fired handgun projectile in their driveway on July 5th, on the 4700 block of 189th St.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE: A purse was reported stolen from a vehicle after the owner received an alert from their bank reference attempted debit card transactions on July 5th, on the 4100 block of 175th Pl.

THEFT: Multiple landscape solar lights were reported stolen on July 5th, on the 16800 block of Glen Oaks Dr.

VEHICLE STOLEN: A vehicle owner reported meeting a person in Chicago and that the person stole their vehicle when they exited to run an errand on July 5th, on the 3700 block of 168th St.

VEHICLE BURGLARY: A handgun was reported stolen from a vehicle on July 6th, on the 4700 block of 177th St.

DECEPTIVE PRACTICE: An employee reported they paid a person posing as utility worker $250 for services on July 6th, at Pizza Hut, 4237 W. 167th St.

NO DRIVERS LICENSE: Cedric Menzie, 37, of the 3700 block of 176th Pl, was
charged with no valid drivers license after a stop for speeding on July
7th, at 176th Pl and Country Club Dr.

BATTERY ARREST: Leonard Cranshaw, 46, of the 2300 block of Windsor Ln, was
charged with striking and kicking a person on July 7th.

HOME INVASION: Kendell Ellis, 25, of the 18800 block of Chestnut Ave, was charged with home invasion and attempted murder after damaging a door and critical injuring a person on July 10th, on the 4100 block of 188th St.

BATTERY ARREST: Clarence McDaniel, 67, of the 19400 block of Hickory Pl, was charged with battery after choking and pushing a person on July 10th.

RETAIL THEFT: Norma Colon, 38, of the 4300 block of 183rd St, was charged with retail theft after stealing $25 worth of clothing on July 11th, at Dollar General, 4039 W. 183rd St.

VEHICLE BURGLARY: A purse and personal items were reported stolen from a vehicle parked in the lot at Walmart, 4005 W. 168th Pl, on July 11th.

HOME BURGLARY: A door was forced open and multiple items of jewelry were reported stolen from a residence on July 11th, on the 18500 block of Cicero Ave.

PROPERTY DAMAGED: A mailbox was reported damaged after an explosion was heard on July 12th, on the 4200 block of 186th Pl.

RETAIL THEFT: Shawnee Evans, 51, of the 16900 block of Sunset Ridge Dr, was charged with retail theft after failing to pay for merchandise she concealed in her purse on July 12th, at Walmart, 4005 W. 168th Pl.

DECEPTIVE PRACTICE: A person claiming to be an agent for a utility company requested a business employee meet them at a office store to recieve payment for a past due bill on July 12th, at Whata Taco, 18217 Pulaski Ave.

NO DRIVER’S LICENSE: Joyce Burnett, 44, of the 18700 block of John Ave, was charged with driving without a license after an investigative stop on July 12th, at 187th St and Nightengale Terr.

FIGHT: Darryl Harper, 28, of the 3900 block of 189th St, Flossmoor, and Darius Harper, 27 of the 4800 block of Canterbury Pl, were charged with fighting after an officer observed them engaging in a physical altercation on July 12th, at Falcon Fuel, 18259 Pulaski Ave.

FIREARM ARREST: Jerrian Foster, 22, of the 3600 block of Briar Ln, Hazel Crest, was charged with unlawful use of a weapon after officers located a handgun in his vehicle during a suspicious vehicle investigation on July 14th, on the 17500 block of Chestnut Ave.
