PROPERTY DAMAGED: A homeowner reported a window damaged after observing juveniles throwing rocks in the area the evening prior on the 4500 block of 189th St.

July 18th

THEFT: Painting equipment was reported stolen from a gated area at Walmart, 4005 W. 167th St.

THEFT: A person was observed on home surveillance stealing a delivered package after a homeowner was unable to locate the package which was listed as being delivered on the 18900 block of Cedar Ave.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Kris Shelton of the 3400 block of Woodworth Pl, Hazel Crest was charged with operating a vehicle while license suspended after a stop for a cell phone violation at 168th Pl and Pulaski Rd.

July 19th

VEHICLE DAMAGED: Multiple vehicles had their windows broken out on the 17800 block of Sycamore Ave.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Darrell Mattison of the 6000 block of Aspen Ln, Matteson was charged with driving while license suspended and being uninsured after a stop for a lane violation at 183rd St and Pulaski Rd.

July 20th

PROPERTY DAMAGED: A glass window was found damage by a firearm projectile after a call of gunshots on the 3800 block of 168th St.

WARRANT ARREST: Julius Williams, of the 17900 block of Millstone Rd, Hazel Crest, was arrested on a Cook County Sheriff drug warrant after a stop for a registration violation on the 18900 block of Cicero Ave

July 21st

THEFT: A person reported their lost bank card was used to complete over $1,000 worth of transactions at Walmart, 4005 W. 167th St.

RECKLESS DRIVER: Nia Gardner of the 15500 block of University Ave, Dolton, was charged with reckless driving and driving the wrong way after entering a closed roadway and nearly striking a police vehicle at 177th St and Pulaski Rd.

July 22nd

BATTERY ARREST: Fernando Burrage on the 3400 block of Hickory Ln, was charged with battery and criminal damage to property after damaging a door and punching and kicking a person on the 3900 block of 168th St.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Sharetta Alexander of Hammond, Indiana, was charged with driving with a suspended license after a stop regarding a stolen vehicle investigation on the 17300 block of Pulaski Rd.

July 23rd

STOLEN VEHICLE: A vehicle was reported stolen on the 17600 block of Baker Ave.

PROPERTY DAMAGE ARREST: Rosa Phillips-Alexander of the 19000 block of Willow Ave, was charged with criminal damaged to property after she used a knife to cut a persons clothing items.

July 24th

AGGRAVATED BATTERY: Multiple persons were found with non-life threatening gunshot woods on the 4300 block of 186th Pl.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Jacoby Brown of the 3400 block of 218th St, Matteson, was charged with operating a vehicle with a suspended license after a stop for failing to signal on the 17800 block of Pulaski Rd.

July 25th

NO LICENSE: Ronald Roche of the 3900 block of 151st St, Midlothian, was charged with driving without a license after a stop for failing to signal at Pulaski Rd and Williamsburg Rd.

July 27th

HIT AND RUN: A vehicle fled the area after colliding with a brick mailbox on the 17900 block of Lavergne Ave.

THEFT: A wallet and phones were reported stolen from a backroom at Dollar General, 4039 W. 183rd St.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Brandon Barber of Edwardsville, Illinois, was charged with driving while his license was suspended after a stop for failing to signal at 188th St and Pulaski Rd.

WARRANT ARREST: Lenard Adams of the 100 block of Indianwood, Park Forest, was arrested on a Lake County Indiana fraud warrant after a stop for a registration violation on the 16900 block of Pulaski Rd.

VEHICLE DAMAGED: A vehicle owner observed damage to their vehicle consistent with being struck by a BB Gun projectile on the 4000 block of 183rd St.

HOME DAMAGED: Multiple windows on a residence were found shattered on the 17800 block of Arlington Dr.

ASSAULT ARREST: Vernon Berry of the 4100 block of 190th Pl, was charged with aggravated assault after obtaining and loading a firearm during a argument.

July 31st

ANIMAL CRUELTY: Multiple dogs were found in a yard malnourished by a utility worker on the 2200 block of Windsor Ln.

THEFT: A delivered parcel was reported stolen from outside a residence on the 18700 block of Walnut Ave.

August 1st
NO LICENSE: Xavier Brooks, of the 3400 block of Elysees Ct, Hazel Crest, was charged with driving without a license, possession of cannabis, and obstructing identification after he was stopped for a registration violation and provided a false name on the 3900 block of 178th Pl.

RETAIL THEFT: Charles Mayfield of the 17800 block of Baker Ave, was charged with retail theft after stealing $200 worth of bedding at Walmart, 4005 W. 167th St.

August 2nd

PROPERTY DAMAGED: A mailbox was reported damaged by an unknown cause on the 19000 block of Marylake Ln.

CARJACKING: A person reported they were approached by subjects armed with handguns who stole their vehicle while they were parked outside County Club Hills Food and Liquor, 4874 W. 183rd St.

REVOKED LICENSE: Edwards Loggins of the 1100 block of Amherst Ln, University Park, was charged driving on a revoked license and being uninsured after a stop for a registration violation at 179th St and Cicero Ave.

August 3rd
PROPERTY DAMAGED: A light fixture was found damaged at Premier Estates Park, 18600 Willow Ave.

THEFT: A person reported their vehicle registration was stolen after observing a subject running from the rear of their vehicle parked in a driveway on the 3800 block of 168th Pl.

DUI ARREST: Berrone Forbish of the 200 block of 95th St, Chicago, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, being over the legal limit, improper lane use, and being uninsured after he was found sleeping with his vehicle in a ditch at Flossmoor Rd and Marylake Dr.
