ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

In 1999, Mayor Dwight Welch reestablished the City’s Economic Development Commission.  The Commission has been working diligently to promote Economic Development within the City of Country Club Hills and the development of this web site is the Commission’s first project.  In addition, the Commission is currently studying the following projects:

• Business Retention Program
• Marketing Plan for the Commercial Business District
• Business Attraction Program

The Commission involvement with regional planning and development include:

• Southland Chamber of Commerce
