EMERGENCY NOTIFICATION SYSTEM
CodeRED
Seconds Count In An Emergency!
The City of Country Club Hills has instituted the CodeRED Emergency Notification System - an ultra high-speed telephone communication service for emergency notifications. This system allows us to telephone all or targeted areas of the City in case of an emergency situation that requires immediate action (such as a boil-water notice, missing child or evacuation notices).
The system is capable of dialing 60,000 phone numbers per hour. It then delivers our recorded message to a live person or an answering machine, making three attempts to connect to any number.

You can also receive warnings about dangerous weather conditions EVEN FASTER than the Code Red service.
With the new Weather Warning system, calls are automatically delivered by Code Red within seconds after warnings are issued by the National Weather Service for severe storms, flash floods and tornados. Only those residents within the projected path of the dangerous weather, who have registered for this free service, would be called.
You MUST sign up for the Weather Warning service, even if you are already registered in the Code Red system. There is no charge to residents for either service.
To register, click on the Code Red or Code Red Weather logo and fill out the form provided, you MUST check the box indicated for Weather Warnings. You may register up to two telephone numbers for your address. If you cannot register on line, or you have questions, please contact Chief Gary Casper at 708-798-3270
