CITY BUS

The Country Club Hills Senior/Disabled bus service charges $1 per ride (2$ per round trip). Many other cities charge a higher price, however the City feels they can hold the $1 fee based on expenses accrued during the first year of operation.
The First City bus, acquired in February of 2003 through a $63,000 grant, transports senior and/or handicapped residents within approximately a six mile radius of Country Club Hills. The fleet now includes four buses and one van. Stops include those for medical purposes, dining, entertainment, and shopping. Reservations must be made 48 hours in advance.
